Update 8/16

Hello readers,

It’s been a little bit, but I’m here with some important updates and new content! I am in the midst of moving dorms, so there hasn’t been a lot of time for sitting and finishing projects, but things are well underway.

First off,  I’ve written the first spin-off for my upcoming novel series, “The Squire’s Quest”. It’s called “Battle of Northcry“. It’s based on a scene in my novel, and shows the major battle for the main character’s home. It’s a scene that’s overlooked in the novel, given specific circumstances, and I’ve been wanting to write about the battle. I think it turned out really well, so I hope you enjoy it.

Secondly, my poetry chapbook is almost ready to be published. Thanks to a comment someone posted about a site called Fiverr, I found someone who could design a book cover for me at an affordable price. Her username is Germancreative, and she does amazing work. You should definitely check her out if you need covers, or some kind of display art done. All that’s left now is for me to organize the work into a format that can be published.

My novel has grown, as well. I keep coming up with little ideas to add, and so the first draft still has a little ways to go. However, as of now, I should be able to finished it before the month ends. It looks like it may be a December release, but if it helps make my book better, I have to go along with the flow. I’m really excited that I have made it this far, and that my book is so close to being finished.

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy the spin-off story. Be sure to keep an eye out for the next chapter in Spellcaster. It will be here in the next week or so.

Thank you,

Jessup Burton
